Camp Susan Curtis

Terri Mulks will speak to us again about Camp Susan Curtis, their programs and how they change the lives of the 500 young people who attend each year.  To underscore that point, Camp Alumnus Brando Brichetto of Westbrook, and currently a USM Student and Westbrook Firefighter/Paramedic will join her.

Brandon was recently the featured speaker a the Susan L Curtis Leadship dinner. To quote from his speech:

“Home.  Family. Confidence. Safety. Decision-making.  What do these words mean to you?  I know what they mean to me.  Camp Susan Curtis has given all these things to me.  They have given me the confidence to make every life-changing decision I have to make in the back of an ambulance or on a fire scene.  They have given me a family that I know would do anything to help me through anything and everything.  The biggest thing they have given me is a place to call home.  No matter where I go in life, whether it is a million miles away or right down that beautiful camp road, Camp Susan Curtis will always be my home and you guys will always be my family.”
