Maine Prisoner Advocay Coalition  is a grassroots citizen’s collective working to address the gaps in Maine’s criminal justice system. Their mission is grounded in the belief that Second Chance initiatives build safer communities, facilitate successful reentry and family support for formerly incarcerated individuals, reduce recidivism costs, and are an overall economic benefit to the state.  Like Maine’s Rotary Clubs, They are driven by a shared commitment to public service and civic engagement.
