Teens to Trails

PTO - in adult parlance, this means Paid Time Off, but to Teens to Trails, it means Play Together Outside.  We will talk about the importance of play for all ages, and the positive outcomes of being outdoors with peers, especially for youth.  Teens to Trails works with over 60 schools across 15 counties, including Westbrook High School, to help offer Outdoor Clubs. Two students from the Westbrook Outdoor Club will join the presentation.

Alicia's favorite four letter word is P-L-A-Y. She connects people in the outdoors to benefit personal health, ecological awareness, and thriving communities. She serves on the board of Maine GearShare, an innovative gear lending library, and is about to finish kayaking the Maine Island Trail
