As prescribed in our Bylaws, the Board of the Rotary Club of Westbrook-Gorham has issued a call for nominations for the 2022-2023 Rotary year. This "call" asks for nominations from any member to fill positions on the board. Don't be shy about nominating yourself! The positions include: Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Protection Officer, Sergeant-at-Arms, and 2 Directors.The current incumbents in some of these positions have expressed interest in continuing, but if you are interested, please contact President Andy or PE Christine. Based on the recent action of the board (noted above), the following positions will be included on the 2022-2023 slate by default: Immediate Past President Andy Turcotte, President Christine Johnson, and President Elect Crystal Brown. Deadline for nomination is March 15. Vote for the 2022-2023 slate will be held during our regular member meeting at a Club Assembly on March 15, 2022.
In addition to the board positions, we are seeking folks interested in joining or chairing our various committees. We are currently seeking chairs for these committees: Community Service, Public Relations, International Service, Golf Committee, and Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale Committee. Even if you can't chair a committee, if you are interested in becoming a member of a committee, please contact Andy or Christine.
